CRM (customer relationship management)

Definition

A CRM is a system that keeps every customer and lead in one place, with their contact details, conversations, purchases and next steps, so nobody is forgotten. Its job is to make sure every enquiry gets an answer and every promising lead gets a follow-up at the right time.

Most small businesses start with WhatsApp chats and memory. A CRM puts those conversations against the customer's record so anyone on the team can pick up where someone else left off.

In Profynix the CRM is shared with invoicing, marketing and the website, so a website enquiry becomes a lead, the lead becomes a customer, and the customer's invoices and messages sit on the same record.
