Invoice
An invoice is a document a business sends a customer asking to be paid for goods or services. It lists who is billing whom, an invoice number, the date, each item with quantity and price, any tax such as VAT, the total due, the due date and how to pay.
An invoice is a request for payment; a receipt is proof that payment happened. Keep invoice numbers in one unbroken sequence so every invoice can be traced, and say the payment terms (for example, due in 14 days) on the invoice itself.
The fastest way to get paid is to make paying one tap. Profynix invoices carry a payment link, send reminders before and after the due date, and update your books when the money lands.
